Quality Tradesmen. Exceptional Craftsmanship.

Phil Gould trained at St. Austell College gaining an NVQ level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery while working in the joiners shop and sawmill at Tregothnan Estate. Here, Phil learned his craft and developed a genuine passion for carpentry. Fulfilling another ambition of his, Phil then became a PE Teacher and school middle manager. But during this time, he kept in touch with his carpentry and construction skills by renovating and maintaining homes and taking on bespoke projects.

The increase in passion and knowledge for Carpentry, plus the wealth of positive feedback from customers led to Phil leaving the Education environment in 2015 and setting up his Carpentry business full time.
Now, combining the skills he learnt as a carpenter with the project management side of managing a busy school, the business has progressed to taking on property face lifts and alterations to full renovations and extensions where Phil has honed his project managing skills and increased his network of quality, professional tradesmen and governing bodies in order to realise customers’ visions and requirements.
